Looking Back

“Looking Back” is a little sketch I did recently while at the Morro Bay Arts Festival this past 4th of July.  Horses are so lovely with all of their own personalities and quirks.  That’s what made me want to draw this picture.  Hope you like it!

4th of July Event

For those who are wondering what I am doing this 4th of July, I will be in Morro Bay, California.  Every year they have a wonderful Arts in the Parks Event, and I was able to get in this year! The wonderful thing about this is that the weather will be fantastic in Morro Bay, not too hot or cold, with fireworks super close to the beach…

The only bad part is that I’ll have to leave my mascot behind (the fireworks hurts his ears)… Here he is waiting for the tennis ball to drop off the roof of the garage.

If you find that you can’t make it out to see my artwork this coming up weekend, but still want to check out my artwork, you can come out to Oxnard Harbor the following weekend, July 11-12th.  I’d love to see you!

Behind the Scenes

My new page, Behind the Scenes is completed! This page walks you through the progress of the drawing “Captivated”, released in the spring of 2007.  The original of this drawing was sold on opening night in the Morro Bay Art Association Gallery Exhibition.  Prints always make a great gift without spending a lot of money.  Limited edition prints of “Captivated” are available.  Let me know how I can help you send a print of “Captivated” to someone you know!
