Merry Christmas to All!
2013 has handed us our fair share of hurdles, and both my husband and I want to take a minute to thank everyone for all of their wonderful thoughts and prayers that have helped us meet the challenges thrown upon us. We appreciate all of the good thoughts more than we can ever voice.
It certainly is true that you find out who your friends are, and you find out what you’re made of when tragedy strikes. My husband was in a life-threatening motorcycle accident on Father’s Day when an 86 year old man blatantly failed to look and see if his path onto the roadway was clear. He pulled out in front of my husband, leaving my husband nowhere to go but into the man’s vehicle.
Without some incredibly gifted surgeons in Tulsa, as well as the outpouring of prayers and well wishes, along with the most stubborn man I have ever met, Mark is recovering. We both hope he makes a full recovery.
I hope your Christmas is filled with love and laughter. Enjoy your day and treasure every moment.
