The Bosque Arts Center opened its gallery doors to display 176 pieces of representational art from throughout the country on September 14, with its 28th Annual Bosque Art Classic.
Acclaimed sculptor Bill Nebeker judged the show, which features exceptional work in the media of drawing, oil/acrylic, pastel, sculpture, and watercolor.
I have to say I was so impressed with the high quality of artists present, that it was all I could do to just be present and take it in.
Some of the artists present included Roger Archbald, Mary Ross Buccholz and Mikel Donahue.
“I think it’s probably about the best show we’ve done in 28 years,” says Joyce Jones, long time art patron and senior member of the Art Council, which sponsors the prestigious show and sale at the Bosque Arts Center.
