Washed Up

Elephant Seal

Looking like a big lump of wood washed up on the shore, this elephant seal relaxes and waits for the tide to come back around for the next round of swimming in the ocean.

Although this drawing is a lot different in many ways (its not of a horse, and its not western) it still utilizes the textures and depth that my artwork is known for.

This little step out of the well-trod path I have been travelling down is accredited to my new found hobby of scuba-diving. I have had such a blast experiencing the underworld marine life! I can hardly wait to go scuba diving again!
