I really liked how this turned out.  It was still spring, and the grass hadn’t yet turned golden out. The horses were gathered to drink water, with one curious horse looking around.

    This is very impressive however the horse on the left is a lot lighter. It looks like it a ghost. Cool picture

    Beautiful job on this – nice composition and you are amazing with your modeling of the shapes with just graphite! I don’t mind the horse on the far left being so pale – it could be a pale horse or it could just add something extra there without really drawing my eye much. You want your viewer to go to the horse that’s looking around and that’s where I go, after moving throughout the drawing (hate to call this just a drawing as it is so much more). It helps to hold our eye there by the light shoulder against the darker horse next to him, too. Good luck on the sale!
