New Foal on Broken Erro Ranch

Night is coming quick, as the sun slips behind the golden hills, peppered with Spanish Oak trees.  The wind has come up, and with it brings the howling of the coyotes just a few miles away.  Running along the dry creek bed, mom and daughter stop, alerted to the sounds of the rising danger.

Brunskotta and her baby, Moonshine, have broken off from the rest of the herd several weeks back when Brunskotta was ready to give birth.  Wild as the night, Brunskotta now must find the herd to provide safety to her newborn…on Broken Erro Ranch.

As a point of interest, “Brunskotta” is derived from the Arabic word meaning black-coated.
